Now in it's fourth year, the WA Web Awards is back - bigger and better than ever!

Again, we will showcase the best of the best: the most creative, the most innovative, the best looking and best functioning web sites created and launched in the 2007/2008 financial year. Finalists have now been announced.

Nominations are open

It is with great pleasure that I decree nominations for the Western Australian Web Awards 2007 open! Entries are $30 for AWIA members, $10 for student AWIA members and $40 for non-members - if you aren’t an AWIA member yet, you can register at http://www.webindustry.asn.au/join.

The judging criteria has changed slightly from last year - particularly in the online application section - so make sure you read through the http://wawebawards.com.au/judging/judging-criteria/. When you are ready to enter, visit http://www.wawebawards.com.au/entry and make your submission!

Tickets are on sale

After you have submitted your entry, make sure you purchase a ticket to the awards night. This year we are at a brand new venue - the Duxton Hotel, allowing more seats - but don’t think that you can wait until the last moment to buy tickets, they sold out in just over a week last year.

Tickets this year are $80 for student AWIA members, $110 for AWIA members and $130 for non-members. This includes a three-course meal and drinks. The last two years have been great nights, and this year is promising to be even better!
